Postbuckling analysis of nonlocal functionally graded beams

چکیده

The main goal of this research is to study the postbuckling behavior nonlocal functionally graded beams. Eringen’s differential model used evaluate influence material length scale in bending response. An improved shear deformation beam theory with five independent parameters utilized, which suitable for use 3D constitutive equations. A finite element derived spectral high-order interpolation functions avoid locking. formulation verified by comparing present results ones found literature. Functionally beams different boundary conditions, parameters, and power law indices are analyzed. It shown that can accurately predict due terms displacement field comparison classical formulations. Finally, new benchmark problems analyzed show capabilities effect parameter index on behavior.
